Who we are
Laguna Marina is an exclusive, boutique yacht marina on the Valletta waterfront and the only marina in Malta to offer an ‘all inclusive’ option to its clients. Laguna Marina’s concept is for the motor yacht owner to find their boat ‘ready to go’, allowing them more time to enjoy the use of their craft and leaving the hassles of boat ownership to us. The service provided is personalised, professional and to the highest standards. Laguna Marina’s location, at the heart of the stunning and vibrant Valletta Waterfront development, offers an all weather marina with safe and secure moorings thus extending the owners usage time of the yacht through the warm winter months. Situated within the capital’s Grand Harbour, the Valletta Waterfront is in a historical and sheltered port which is regularly visited by cruise liners and other vessels from all over the Mediterranean. Laguna Marina offers bespoke services. Installed with floating pontoons and fingers to provide easy access, Laguna Marina offers its clients assistance with berthing, refuelling, catering, valet parking, guardiennage, waste collection and a concierge service. We are confident that with our positive attitude towards our clients, you will enjoy being with us. Laguna Marina was not developed by operators, but by its very first customers, themselves discerning boat owners wishing to see a customer focused exclusive marina in Malta. Like you, they are far too busy working to look after their yachts, but expect to be able to sit back and relax on board at a moment’s notice, and demand the highest levels of service, professionalism and courtesy, much like you.

Marketing and paperwork will be borne and handled by Laguna Marina.
Laguna Marina Concierge services aren’t only about the best care and maintenance of luxury yachts. We are in business with people and we know that people want a personal and tailored service. Our Concierge Staff will gladly assist with your travel arrangements, chauffeur drive requirements, any preferences as to dining on board or restaurant recommendations and bookings. Think of Laguna Marina as a 5-star hotel for you and your yacht!
Laguna Marina offers two streams of Concierge services, a Standard and a Premium Service package. Both Laguna Marina packages are aimed towards the discerning boat owner who simply does not have the time to care for and maintain their boat. The different packages signify different levels of involvement on the Marina’s part.
The Standard package includes berthing at Laguna Marina using our unique finger berthing system, regular cleaning and a maintenance schedule for your yacht which will see it maintained to the highest standard.
The Premium Service package includes all of the above as well as our added value concierge stream through which we take care of all refueling, lifting, maintenance and other sundry needs your boat might require. As well as the above two Concierge packages, Laguna Marina goes above and beyond in a number of other ways. We offer airport and hotel pick up and drop off, berthing assistance if required, a specialist on hand to berth the boat should you so wish, as well as provisioning of your vessel. Allow us to provision and stock your boat with your favourite food and drink, as well as newspapers, magazines, books, music and anything else, so that you may find them on board when you arrive.
Laguna Marina also offers facility of ordering any beverages, foodstuffs and other supplies directly from the marina, which we will source from a trusted core of suppliers and will have delivered straight to the boat. From champagne on ice and caviar to a traditional Maltese ftira and a chilled bottle of Gavi, whatever you wish to have for an out-at-sea snack, we will order and have delivered for you!
In order to provide the highest level of service possible, Laguna Marina has created a ‘partnership’ with service providers that have a similar mind set to the Laguna Marina ethos, that is to bring to its clients a high standard of service.

Awarded Sole Distributor for Windy Boats
Mersenne Yachts Ltd, part of the Mersenne Group that operates Laguna Marina at Valletta Waterfront, are pleased to announce it has been awarded sole distributor status in Southern Italy, Malta and North Africa for Windy Boats.

Dean Bucknell, director of Mersenne Group said: “We are pleased to represent a brand in Malta that represents a European benchmark for quality and attention to detail in the industry, the exact same principles we are applying to the services offered at Laguna Marina, Valletta Waterfront”.
“Knut Heiberg-Andersen, President/CEO of Windy Boats added: “ ..with the Mersenne Group in Malta, we are convinced that we have found the perfect partner for Windy Boats in this region. About Windy Boats
Windy Boats AS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Periscopus AS, Oslo, Norway – a privately owned holding company with interests which include publishing, media, hotels and property. The renowned WINDY boats are built at our modern and well equipped production facilities at Skarpnes, just outside Arendal on the southern coast of Norway. The Company employs 160 people producing models ranging from 25 to 58 feet in our WINDY range; and from 26 to 28 feet in our Windy Oceancraft range.
All their models are hand-built by skilled craftsmen. The fine woodwork and exclusive textiles are important distinguishing features of a Windy in just the same way as the modern technology involved in the construction materials, and the control and propulsion systems. Pride in craftsmanship is something that has been handed down through centuries of Norwegian boat building. Windy boats are built in an area which is at the very heart of the Norwegian boat building tradition, in Arendal on the south coast of Norway.
It was in this same town that the first wooden pleasure boats were built for the country’s prosperous sailing-ship masters and owners. In these waters, kings and princes competed in yacht races in their beautiful metre boats. This is where fibreglass boats first appeared in 1953. All of this tradition is embodied in a Windy.
When Windy Boats AS was established in 1966, a fine leisure boat was created first and foremost thanks to the skilled craftsmanship that had been handed down through the generations. It is still the case today that the craftsman has the greatest influence on the finished product, however, dialogue with the market inspires our creativity in different directions, involving new ideas and an alternative way of thinking. During this development process, our architects are assisted by extremely precise IT tools. Simulation software enables us to optimise the characteristics on which we intend to focus in a new Windy. Three-dimensional imaging simplifies the choices we have to make during the process that leads to the final product.
